The obtainable phosphorus was observed to be in the choice of 20-22 %, which is far in surplus from the stipulated requirement of seventeen %. Agronomic eff ectiveness of ESSP around the imported TSP was analyzed for rice cultivation in diff erent soil conditions within the dry, damp and intermediate zones of Sri Lanka in fi ve consecutive seasons.
